Responsibilities

 -Providing outstanding service to hotel guests by responding promptly and efficiently to requests and complaints.

-Answers inquiry phone calls from potential guests and presents features and benefits of hotel in a structured attempt to convert the inquiry into a reservation at the hotel. The hotel's sales efforts are critical to its success and as a Front Desk Agent, you play a major role in this vital process!
-Takes potential guests who visit the hotel on guided tours, presenting features and benefits of the hotel in a structured attempt to convert the inquiry into a reservation at the hotel.
-Communicates with fellow team members on maintenance issues, guest requests, guest complaints and sales leads
-Handles accounting of money, receipts, guest accounts and credit through operation of the cash register and completion of reports required to ensure company funds are secure

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Opera Experience preferred 
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems
  • Ability to work cohesively with all hotel team members
  • Willingness to stand for long periods of time
  • Must wear proper uniform at all times.
